Who are we?

Aaliyah helps to make all things Mexico seem not so “foreign” to foreigners visiting and moving to Mexico. As an American couple, Aaliyah and her husband John have personally navigated the immigration process from tourists in Mexico to full on Resident and Citizen of Mexico. Subjects we have expertise in range from travel to Mexico, traveling in Mexico, establishing roots and everything in between; including buying property and renovating a home in Mexico.

Why the name?

Aaliyah is a 3rd generation Mixed-Race American Woman who is in a beautifully "mixed" interracial marriage to a 1st generation American Man of Mexican decent. Together, they decided to take the leap and make the permanent move to Mexico for the first time in their lives; and taste all the beauty and true flavors of everything Mexico has to offer in it's wonder Melting Pot of mixed spices.
